Move the pin from the summer and winter positions to change the door from screen to storm function. As the name implies an ez set door latch is easy to assemble disassemble install or remove. This function is only available for non sized closers. The ez closer should sit on the back edge of the door. Using a 1 inch spade bit bore a hole to the depth of 3 75 inches the length of the ez closer cylinder. Ez set latches come in a variety of styles.

Attach the jamb bracket first then the door closer rod. Door closer bc or back check means how the door responds when fully opened the amount of resistance when opening the door past a certain point. Insert the latch and tighten it with screws. Now your door is ready to be tted.

Firmly push the ez closer into the drilled hole and secure with the two screws provided screws must be counter sunk. Connect the cylinder to the door bracket and attach the door bracket to the door. Chisel 5 64 2mm deep along the strike outline to allow the strike to be aligned with the doorframe.

Some hydraulic door closer models also allow adjusting the back check.
