I think seafoam green looks too blue to be green. It would match my timmy. If fender was giving me a free guitar and those were my only 2 choices i guess surf green has a more pleasant hospital wall shade while i dislike the mylanta bottle color of seafoam green even more. The natural binding though is not binding it s simply where the edge of the maple top isn t stained painted so it contrasts.

I don t know about seafoam vs. Some people say it proves the top is a real piece of wood and not a veneer others say it s a tacky gimmick. A lot of sites confuse surf green for seafoam green.
